Notice: 24 & 25 April weekend protests

The Korean National Police Agency has advised that there will be disruptions in Central Seoul due to planned public gatherings and demonstrations on Friday 24 April and Saturday 25 April 2015.

These include:

  • Friday 24 April 2015 from 3:00PM and 4:00PM approximately 8,000 people are expected with gather from the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions in Seoul Plaza, Seoul City Hall (City Hall Metro station)
  • Saturday 25 April 2015 from 3:00PM and 4:30PM approximately 35,000 people are expected to gather from the Korean Government Employee’s Union in Seoul Plaza, Seoul City Hall (City Hall Metro Station)
  • Saturday 25 April 2015 from 3:00PM and 4:30PM approximately 5,000 people are expected to gather from the Korean Government Employee’s Union at Seoul Station (Seoul Station Metro/KTX)
  • Saturday 25 April from 4:00PM approximately 2,000 people are expected to gather in memory of the Sewol Ferry disaster in Gwanghwamun Plaza (Gwanghwamun Metro Station)
