Notarial Officer / Receptionist


The Corporate and Consular Services Section in the Australian Embassy has a vacancy for a Notarial Officer / Receptionist.

The successful applicant will be required to work cooperatively and flexibly as part of a small team under the supervision of the Consul and Second Secretary.

The position will be at the Broadband 2 level with a starting salary of KRW 35,590,986 per annum. The position is for an initial period of 12 months.

• Details of two referees who may be contacted if necessary.

• Receptionist/Notarial Service 65%

-Undertake receptionist duties including answering general enquiries or redirect enquires from members of the public to the appropriate areas.

-Completion and registration of Notarial Acts.

-Record and issue security passes for visitors to the Embassy.

-Maintain the Embassy telephone directories.

-Provide training on the operation of the switchboard to Embassy staff.

• Finance 20%

-Perform sub-cashier duties in accordance with regulations outlined in the Finance Management Manual.

-Input and update the Vendor Master Records (VMR) in SAP.

• Other Duties 15%

-Manage Embassy transportation booking system and Embassy conference rooms

-Records management in TRIM

-Back up Passport officer

-Back up Travel Assistant, in the absence of Travel Assistant, manages travel bookings and accommodation arrangements for official travel

-Other duties as directed

 

 

[Notarial Officer/ Receptionist - Selection Criteria]

 

A. An understanding and experience with the requirements of managing the reception of a diplomatic mission including providing secretarial support.

B. Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision to prioritise tasking and manage workflow.

C. The ability to work efficiently and effectively as a member of a small team. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

D. Excellent attention to detail and an ability to develop productive working relationships with colleagues.

E. A good level of both written and spoken Korean and English languages.
